Aish at Queen's
With Daniel and Hannah Diamond
A new Aish Campus branch will be opening this fall at Queen's University, home to almost 1,000 Jewish students. The branch will be run by Daniel Diamond and his wife Hannah. The Diamonds have been living in Kingston for the past year while Daniel attends law school. They will be providing educational programming, Shabbat meals, social events and a home away from home for the Queen's students.
Daniel is excited to follow in the foodtsptes of the current Aish Campus Rabbis based at York University, Ryerson and U ofT. "We can't wait to get started. We have so many amazing ideas and we really hope that the Queen's students will demonstrate leadership initiative and help us really kick start Aish at Queen's".
Sam Crystal, a former Queen's student said, "Queen's has been waiting for this for a long time. There is so much potential out there to educate, inspire and activate an entire generation of Jews."
