The University of Western Ontario in London is home to Canada's second-largest Jewish student population. Beginning this fall, Aish Toronto will be launching an Aish Campus branch run by Eric and Ally Lander. "Aish Western" will provide students with opportunities to engage in Jewish leadership development programming, community activism projects, and will explore many avenues of Jewish learning. Eric, Ally and their two-year-old daughter are also looking forward to hosting students in their home for Shabbat and holiday meals, and their 2 year-old daughter Noa can’t wait to have lots of “big kids” to play with!

Eric grew up in London, Ontario, and later moved to Toronto to complete a Bachelors degree in Political Science at York University. Ally grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved to Toronto in 2003 with her family. She completed a Bachelors in Religious Studies at York University. Eric and Ally then spent time in Israel where Eric received his rabbinic ordination.
