Please assist us in helping someone in our community here in Toronto. There is someone in our community who is currently in tremendous physical and psychological pain. Unfortunately doctors in Toronto have yet to figure out the issue.

After discussing this matter with Rav Berkovitz in Israel, he stated that this is a matter of pekuach nefesh (life and death) and the next step should be to get help at a treatment centre in the U.S. The cost for the month stay that he would need is $13,000.

This person has a young family and his health is putting a tremendous strain on all of them.
